Our binary-cycle geothermal process operates 24/7 to create electricity and green hydrogen.
Step 1
Fluid is pumped into the injection well down into the geothermal reservoir where high-temperature rocks sit.
Step 2
Hot liquid and steam are then sent up a secondary well connected to a generator which uses the steam to spin the turbine to generate electricity that is then stored.
Step 3
The steam is transferred to an electrolyser and converted to green hydrogen.
Step 4
The hot liquid is pumped back down the injection well for the process to begin again.
